Ive had my americano for 6 years and still holding steady cant recommend this company enough!!! Real tree camouflage for the win as best colorway!
I recently moved to a big city and needed a hauler for stuff like double loads of laundry and week-long grocery runs; since I’ve had other less sturdy bags rip on me when carrying that kind of weight, I saved up for an Americano. I often use it walking long distances and up and down flights of stairs. The bag swallows up anything you put inside and it’s roomy enough that groceries just nestle in there easy. It makes my errands WAY more comfortable than they have any right to be and has saved me hundreds of trips back and forth due to its sheer volume & flexibility! I’m a short person with a short torso (17”) and this thing fits me great, the waist strap, padded straps & sternum strap distribute the weight well.
I purchased this bag recently as it became available, was gone for a while. I own several Road runner products; all my bikes have the saddle tool pouch and the matching co-pilot bag to hold my water water bottle. These folks really nailed ALL aspects of the cyclist community’s needs when it comes to cycling bags/gear needs. I purchased the last “Coyote” brown that was in stock and I could not have made a better choice. I had an issue with one of the add on components for my Americano and I contacted them. WOW!!! Talk about customer service, the actual bag makers answer the phone, whoever, is nearby I guess.But I thought that was supercool. If you need a bag to carry the kitchen sink in…this is the one. i’ve been using this bag for 5 days and I can safely say i don’t think i’ll ever use another bag again
I’ve been using this bag for just a few weeks, but so far it has been wonderful. It’s already been tested through large carry loads, and been in days of rain. The bag holds everything I need personally, with room for any delivery, grocery run, or whatever. When the bag is empty it is well compacted. Waist straps are really comfortable. It’s tough, it is weather proof, it’s big enough, made with love.
